The Richter Family Collection of Silver Souvenir Spoons can be viewed at the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center for the month of September. The Center is open Tuesday-Saturday 10AM-5PM.

This video recreates the painstaking reproduction of a William Morris wallpaper design from 1875, a process that can take up to 4 weeks, using 30 different blocks and 15 separate colors.

The Vintage Duck Decoy Collection of Gene Massey, features working decoys primarily from New England, Maine, and Maryland. They are weighted for stabilization, some have glass eyes, and a few are signed by the maker.

Award-Winning Bluegrass Music Coming to Madison Municipal Airport
One of the genre’s most award-winning artists in recent years, Balsam Range have garnered 13 International Bluegrass Music Association Awards on the heels of 8 critically acclaimed albums. Balsam Range has headlined major festivals from coast to coast and appeared multiple times at the Grand Ole Opry.
What is that lovely scent at the Cultural Center?
Walking up to the Cultural Center, you may notice a lovely fragrance. The scent is coming from two Edgeworthia chrysantha plants located on either side of the front steps.
The Vaseline Glass Collection of Betsy Briley Now on Display
Vaseline glass is also called “uranium glass,” and for good reason. Like all types of colored glass, minerals are added to the molten mixture during production to achieve the color. The type of mineral added to Vaseline glass is actually what makes it glow.

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center has recently acquired a Maxfield Parrish print entitled “Village Brook”. This original lithograph features a huge stately tree in the foreground with a quiet stream running through a village. A church can be seen in the background.
