MMCC Movie Nights

Hocus Pocus on MMCC’s Front Lawn

In October, the Madison-Morgan Cultural Center presented our very first Movie Night on the Lawn with Hocus Pocus. With the purchase of a movie screen, popcorn machine, and cotton candy maker, we launched our first community movie night. Members and children get in free, and non-member adults pay an admission charge of $5. Concessions are available at an additional cost. This Halloween-themed movie night welcomed movie goers in costume.

In December, we’ll be hosting our second movie night. This time, the feature film is Elf, a holiday favorite. Join us on Tuesday, December 3rd, for an adventure from the North Pole to New York City in this delightful Christmas classic starring Will Ferrell, James Caan, and Zooey Deschanel. Our Elf movie night as well as our upcoming January movie (TBA) are sponsored by Gussie’s House of Flowers.

Concessions will be available, and the event will be held inside The Hall on Foster if there is any sign of inclement weather. Otherwise, the movie will be shown on the Front Lawn. You’re invited to dress up for this holiday-themed movie night if you like. Crazy Christmas sweaters, Santa hats, and other holiday gear are welcome additions to our festive evening.

Tell us: What movies would you like to see featured? (Comment below)
